I have been writing over at my blog about writing compelling copy for the web. Now a day’s many people are using Wordpress as their blogging platform or Content Management System, because Wordpress provides flexibility, easy customization, and tailored Search Engine Optimisation. Most people who use Wordpress are aware of basic search engine optimisation (SEO) and will be aware of some of the popular Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) plugins available to them.  However for high search engine placement they need to adopt more advanced techniques (Keyword Analysis, Split Testing, compelling Copy etc) . As we all know Copy is king when it comes to Googles 'Bots'.  If you want to get Good Wordpress SEO with minimal work, here is a cool and very popular wordpress plugin,  Scribe.

It has been suggested that beautiful and usable websites are created on a foundation of beautiful and usable typography. With a new year on the horizon, it’s time to pack away the old, worn web designs and prepare for the brave, new face of tomorrow. Although trends don’t start and stop on January 1st, there is a definite shift from what we craved at the beginning of the year to what we are seeking tutorials for at the end of the year. Most of the time, this shift is subtle. It’s a perfection or re-interpretation of a currently hot trend. Trends help us evolve as designers. As we master the skills of design aesthetic, we continue to push forward to what’s next or what needs to be fully discovered.

TechRadar recently delivered what they and top experts consider to be key trends for the next 12 months in web design. At the core, is an increased focus on usability. Smashing Magazine sought to promote better user experiences with storytelling, encouraging designers to capitalize on users’ emotions. The bottom line: by focusing on usability, a better website can be built. Plagued by a turbulent economic outlook, web designers are finding it in their best interest and those of their clients to scale back on building micro-sites and head-to-toe redesigns, and focus more on improving the overall usability of their websites.
